  On September 15, the 21st China International Motorcycle Expo and the 2023 China Motorcycle Chongqing Forum were grandly inaugurated at the Chongqing International Expo Center.


  As China’s only national-level specialized motorcycle exhibition, the China Motorcycle Expo has become one of the world’s leading trade shows for the motorcycle industry, serving as a key platform for unveiling cutting-edge new products and technologies. This year’s event sets a new record with an expanded footprint of 160,000 square meters—50% larger than last year—hosting more than 700 exhibitors from China, the United States, Italy, Germany, France, Japan, the United Kingdom, Spain, South Korea, and other countries and regions across seven indoor halls. Among them are over 70 global motorcycle and electric‑vehicle brands, showcasing more than 1,000 models. The show features over 50 world‑premiere vehicles, along with groundbreaking new models, innovative technologies, trendy accessories, and immersive experiences, drawing motorcycle enthusiasts from across the country to attend.


  On the eve of the opening and on opening night, the China Motorcycle Expo extended a warm welcome to motorcycle enthusiasts from across the country via the ten‑screen display at Jiangbeizui—the city’s iconic “urban skyline”—saying: Chongqing, the “Motorcycle Capital,” welcomes riders home!


  As a key concurrent event of the China Motorcycle Expo, the China Motorcycle Chongqing Forum was held under the theme “Opportunities and Challenges in an Era of Transformation.” The forum brought together representatives from across the industry chain—covering both upstream and downstream sectors—including complete‑vehicle manufacturers, component suppliers, trade associations, design firms, technology companies, e‑commerce platforms, research institutions, and new‑media outlets—to jointly explore future development trends and the challenges facing the industry.


  The forum was chaired by Zhang Yadi, Deputy Secretary-General of the China Motorcycle Chamber of Commerce. Guests in attendance included Wang Zhaocheng, Deputy Director of the Organization‑Building Department of the All‑China Federation of Industry and Commerce; Yang Xuchao, Vice President of the Chongqing Council for the Promotion of International Trade; Tu Xingyong, Deputy Director of the Chongqing Municipal Commission of Economy and Information Technology; Zuo Zongshen, President of the China Motorcycle Chamber of Commerce; Li Bin, Executive Vice President of the China Motorcycle Chamber of Commerce; Yang Zhiyong, Party Secretary of the Tianjin Internal Combustion Engine Research Institute (Tianjin Motorcycle Technology Center); Liu Xin, Director of the Tianjin Motorcycle Quality Supervision and Testing Institute; and Duan Baomin, General Manager of Zhongjian Western Testing Co., Ltd. In addition, more than 150 representatives from motorcycle‑industry enterprises and related stakeholders attended both the opening ceremony of this year’s China Motorcycle Expo and the forum.

  Subsequently, the attending leaders and guests proceeded with the opening ceremony of the 21st China International Motorcycle Expo. As laser spheres flashed in unison, the 21st China International Motorcycle Expo officially commenced.
